In the City of Santa Cruz:
Determine whether the streetlight is a city light or a PG&E light (any light on a wooden pole belongs to PG&E).
A. If the streetlight is a city light (metal pole):
· Contact City of Santa Cruz at 831-420-5160.
B. If the streetlight is a PG&E light (wooden pole):
1. Contact City of Santa Cruz at 831-420-5160 to let them know you will calling PG&E to ask for a shield.
2. Contact PG&E Building and Renovation Department at 1-877-743-7782
§ the representative will assist you with submitting an application request to have a lighting shield installed on the streetlight. You will be provided with an application number and a security code for viewing the status of your application on the PG&E website.
§ The application will be sent to your local PG&E representative.
